Ghostrac ("the App") is a paranormal investigation tool developed for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Ghostrac does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The App operates entirely on-device with no network communication, no user accounts, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.

2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

The App requests the following device permissions:

RECORD_AUDIO — Required by the Android text-to-speech engine to synthesise and speak words and investigative questions aloud. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. The microphone is never accessed.
BODY_SENSORS / Magnetometer — Used to read real-time electromagnetic field (EMF) data from the device's built-in magnetometer sensor. Sensor readings are displayed on-screen and are never stored or transmitted.
VIBRATE — Used for haptic feedback during touch sensor interactions.

All sensor data remains exclusively on your device and is discarded when the App is closed.

3. DATA STORAGE

Ghostrac does not write any data to external storage. Session data (touch counts, EMF readings, anomaly counters) exists only in memory for the duration of a session and is cleared when the App is closed or reset.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Ghostrac does not integrate with any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or social platforms. No data is shared with any third party.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Ghostrac is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. As no data is collected from any user, no special provisions are required beyond this statement.

6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
